I’m a music photographer primarily working in London and surrounding areas, but you’ll notice pictures from shows all over the country in my portfolio.
Outside of photography I have 15 years of varied experience within underground music between putting on shows, playing in bands, DJing, running DIY record labels, running distros, writing for websites, running podcasts and more.
I’m always up for working on new projects (photography based or otherwise) so if you have any ideas - give me a shout at via the contact form!
(you’ll honestly probably learn the most about me by just listening to my ‘on repeat’ playlist below, but if you scroll down you can find out some more detailed stuff)

Record Labels
At age 16 I started Worthless Nights Records working mostly with UKHC bands to release their demos and EPs digitally as well as on tape, cd and vinyl - including some split releases with Purgatory Records and Fist In The Air Records.
I later started Close to Home Records, which had releases from the likes of Rain, Sneeze and Walleater - the latter of which would feature a track that went on to be sampled in Lil Peep’s Live Forever, which was pretty notable full circle moment for me.

Press
Throughout the course of Close to Home’s existence I worked with a couple of collaborators when it came to press, and our joint efforts managed to get more attention on some of the releases than I ever could have imagined - including coverage on Stereogum, DIY, Noisey, Rocksound, the Radio 1 Rock Show and many other outlets across multiple releases - including a music video placement on SCUZZ (rip).

Compilations
Outside of regular releases, I always had a passion for curating mixtapes, compilations and playlists.
Close to Home released multiple free compilations featuring DIY bands from all over the world, culminating in a charity compilation in 2015 which included more established bands like Title Fight, Basement, Superheaven and others.

Bands
Although being in a band was never the main focus of what I wanted to achieve in music, I spent much of the early 2010’s in DIY bands playing shows all over the UK.
As live music has always been a passion of mine, getting to play at some legendary venues (Underworld, Barfly, Joiners etc) with my friends was extremely fulfilling!

Events
Over the years I have sporadically put on small shows either for bands that I was working with via one of the record labels, my own bands, or just for fun.
It’s been quite a while since I had anything to do with putting an event on, but the highlight was co-promoting a show that brought Brutality Will Prevail to an absolutely rammed Spread Eagle Pub in Southend-on-Sea back in 2013.

Photography
The reason you’re here!
I first took my camera to a show in 2008, though this proved to be a short-lived stint as I didn’t have a clue what I was doing and was less than impressed with the results, naturally.
In late 2023 I decided to revisit this passion, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve already shot everywhere from the Black Heart to the O2 Arena and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
